Tried this restaurant for the first time. My husband and I often order take out and thought we would try Tokyo Grill. Their execution for takeout is extremely poor. First off, the food containers are extremely cheap and did not hold up. My husband’s chicken teriyaki was on the bottom of the bag under mine. His meal was crushed and teriyaki sauce had leaked out into the plastic bag. It was dripping off the bottom of his container. My meal only had a small container of spring rolls sitting on it and the sides of my container were still bent in. It took me less than ten minutes to get home with our meal. Our salads were packed in the same food containers as our hot food. They should have been separate. Our salads were wilted and had way too much dressing on them. Both of our teriyaki dishes had too much teriyaki sauce poured over the top. Our rice was swimming in sauce. The chicken and pork also tasted old. I had high hopes based on the reviews. This was a very disappointing experience.
